CHoPS 2027 will take place at the TU Delft Aula Conference Centre in Delft, the Netherlands, from 6–9 July 2027. Below you'll find practical information to help you plan your trip and make the most of your time in Delft.
Getting to Delft
- By air: The closest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS), with direct train connections to Delft (45–50 minutes).
- By train: International rail connections via Thalys, Eurostar, and ICE serve nearby cities such as Rotterdam, The Hague, and Amsterdam.
- By public transport: Delft has excellent local transport (trams, buses) and is easily walkable and bike-friendly.
A Rail-First, Green Conference
In line with our sustainability pledge, we encourage all participants to choose low-carbon travel options whenever possible. We are partnering with All for Trees to plant one tree per delegate and will offset all conference-related emissions.
A KLM/Air France discount code will be available for international attendees who must fly. More information will follow with your registration confirmation.

The Aula is centrally located on the TU Delft campus and offers step-free access, modern AV facilities, and green catering options. Coffee points, posters, and exhibitions will be located in the central foyer.
Accommodation
Delft offers a wide range of hotels and guesthouses within walking or cycling distance of the venue. Block bookings at discounted rates will be arranged for registered participants. More details will be shared via email and the registration platform.

Visas & Invitation Letters
If you require a visa to attend CHoPS 2027 in the Netherlands, please follow these steps to download an official invitation letter via our event platform:
- Register and pay for the conference via the Registration page.
- Once your payment is confirmed, log in to your Dryfta account at chops2027.dryfta.com.
- Go to your dashboard and select the menu item: Visa Letter.
- Fill in or verify your full name, institution, nationality, and passport number in your profile.
- Click Generate Visa Letter to download your personalised PDF letter instantly.
If your embassy requires a physically signed version or specific formatting, please email us at info@chops2027.org. We recommend requesting your visa at least four weeks before travel.
