The CHoPS 2027 Scientific Committee invites abstract submissions from academics, researchers and industry professionals under the theme "The Future of Granular Flow". Oral and poster contributions are welcome and all abstracts will be peer reviewed.

CHoPS 2027 highlights the crucial role of granular materials in sustainable and efficient processes - from deep-sea exploration to CO₂ capture, additive manufacturing and energy systems.

We welcome contributions presenting experimental research, theoretical advances, modelling or design innovations.

Your submission will also be connected to the challenge it addresses and the techniques used, helping build a programme that connects disciplines, methods and real-world applications.

01 Maximum 2-page abstract, in English and submitted as PDF.
02 Maximum 2 figures and/or 2 tables.
03 Include Background, Method, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.
04 Select the relevant topic, challenge and techniques.
05 Indicate your preferred presentation type: Oral or Poster.
