Direct trains to Delft (typically ~40–45 minutes)
Mekelweg 5, 2628 CC Delft, The Netherlands
Arriving by train (recommended)
Travelling by train is one of the easiest and lowest-emission ways to reach Delft. International services connect smoothly to the Dutch rail network, with frequent onward trains to Delft via Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam, and Schiphol Airport.
Arriving by air
The easiest airport for Delft is Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS). The train station is directly underneath the terminal, so you can transfer to Delft without leaving the airport.

Paying for public transport
You can travel nationwide by train, bus and tram using either an OV-chipkaart or OVpay (contactless check-in/out with a debit/credit card or phone). If you use OVpay, always check in and out with the same card/device for each journey.
Delft Station → TU Delft Aula (last mile)
Delft is compact, and the TU Delft campus is close to the station. The Aula is easy to reach by bicycle, bus, or tram. Public transport services stop close to the venue, and the route is straightforward.
Arriving by car & parking at the venue
Delft is well connected by motorway (A13). If you arrive by car, you can park on/near the TU Delft campus. Paid visitor parking is available in designated areas around the Aula and nearby campus parking facilities.
• Follow TU Delft campus signage to the Aula and visitor parking.
• If you do not have a QR code, standard parking rules and fees apply.
Lower-carbon travel
CHoPS 2027 supports climate-conscious conferencing. We encourage delegates to choose the lowest-emission option that is realistic for their journey. We also offer to plant one tree per participant through our climate programme partner. If you need to fly, consider offsetting through your airline booking flow or via your institution's sustainability programme.
